Ignite Potential with Big Brothers Big Sisters Month

Potential lives within every young person. And yet, there are hundreds of kids here in Calgary who are waiting for someone who will stand in their corner. YOU can ignite the potential of a young person simply by showing up for as little as one hour a week and being a caring, consistent presence in their lives.

From doing homework together, to getting advice about relationships, to seeing a hockey game, the simplest acts can have the biggest impact!

Volunteer to become a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters today.

It’s hard to believe that we said goodbye to the 1990’s nearly 20 years ago. Arguably one of the best decades for the world-wide music scene, the 90’s still hold a special place in the hearts of Canadians from coast to coast. Hoping to relive the music of everyone’s favourite decade, 90’s Nostalgia is bringing their Electric Circus edition tour to Canada this June.

From June 16 – 22, 2020 popular 90’s bands AQUA, Vengaboys, Eiffel 65, 2 Unlimited, Haddaway and Jenny from Ace of Base will visit major Canadian cities on this once-in-a-lifetime tour.

“This Nostalgic Tour is allowing Canadians to relive the iconic Electric Circus Dance Party with their favourite dance artists, many of them who have performed live on Electric Circus in the past,” says Davide Venti.
