Life Saving September @ Canadian Blood Services
Aug 27 @ 12:00:00 AM – Sep 30 @ 11:45:00 PM

Canadian Blood Services and Kids Cancer Care would like to help raise awareness of childhood cancer. If you haven’t scheduled your group donation, please consider a donation in honour of these childhood heroes!

If you already have a group donation booked, please consider increasing your targets. Over 1,700 children are diagnosed with cancer each year in Canada; many of them needing blood products in order to support their treatments. Through your partnership with Canadian Blood Services and Kids Cancer Care, you are helping each child fight, and hopefully win, their battle with cancer.

When people donate blood, stem cells, cord blood, or become an organ, eye or tissue donor, what they are really doing is giving life. Join the movement to Give Life and encourage donors to recruit a friend!

Join the movement…

Book your appointment to give life now by downloading the GiveBlood App or visit blood.ca.

Don’t forget to come say hi to 95.9 CHFM Mid Day Host, Sasha Spencer and Drive Show Host, Erin Wilde on September 11, 2018 at Canadian Blood Services.

A year later, they followed up with We Still Move On Dance Floors, which earned the band six awards, including a JUNO and Sirius XM Indie Award, as well as a spot on the Polaris Music Prize Long List. The Owen Hart Foundation: An Evening with Alec Baldwin @ Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium
Nov 30 all-day

The Owen Hart Foundation is very pleased to present:  “An Evening with Alec Baldwin”

Date: Friday November 30, 2018

Location: Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium

This event will mark the 19th Anniversary of The Owen Hart Foundation and the work they do within the Calgary community. This extraordinary evening will punctuate The Owen Hart Foundation’s 19 years of humanitarian service and commitment to helping those with limited resources, but with unlimited potential.

Over the past three decades, Alec Baldwin has established himself as one of Hollywood’s most gifted, hilarious, and controversial leading men. For his work in the role of Jack Donaghy on Tina Fey’s irreverent series 30 Rock, he won two Emmys, three Golden Globes, and seven Screen Actors Guild Awards.

In his new memoir Nevertheless, Baldwin transcends his public persona, opening up about facets of his life he has long kept private. Told with his signature candor, savvy, and wit, Nevertheless reveals an Alec Baldwin we have never fully seen before.

Click on the link below and enter code word HART.

Offer valid Tuesday May 22nd @ 10:00am until Wednesday May 23 @ 10:00pm.
