From being born in Saudi Arabia at the start of the Gulf War to being evacuated from Lebanon during the 2006 conflict with Israel, Hana Mae's life has always been pumped full of adrenaline.
After living abroad for many years, she finally landed in Vancouver to chase her dream of becoming a journalist. She joined the NEWS 1130 team in 2017 as a part-time reporter while pursuing a full-time diploma in Journalism at BCIT.
Hana Mae loves to laugh. In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding, photography, fishing, and watching hockey.
