Calgary police look to identify vehicle of interest in southeast homicide

CALGARY — Calgary police are looking to the public for help in identifying a vehicle of interest after a homicide in the city’s southeast quadrant on Tuesday.

Around 5:40 a.m., police were called after someone heard gunshots along Erin Circle S.E.

Upon arrival, crews found a man suffering from life-threatening injuries. Despite the efforts of first responders, he was declared dead on scene.

Following an autopsy, the victim has been identified as Kalen Peter McKay.

After collecting CCTV footage, police are now looking to identify a white Dodge Journey that was seen in the area at the same time gunshots were heard.

Police are looking to speak to anyone who may have seen the vehicle, or anyone who may have information that can aid in the investigation.
