Online vaccination record system about to be improved: Alberta Health

EDMONTON – Alberta Health says it’s looking into making online access to vaccination records easier.

This comes after several reports of Albertans having issues trying to view or print their vaccination records.

The government agency says it’s addressing that reported problem and working on streamlining MyHealthRecords.

“There have been some Albertans with individual issues with their records,” Alberta Health said in a statement.

“Alberta Health is investigating records individually and working to secure more resources to make immunization record inquiries more timely. We understand how important it is for Albertans to have appropriate access to their immunization records right now.”

They’re also adding an option to be able to print a card-sized paper vaccination record you can place in your wallet.

“Albertans will soon be able to print a convenient-sized paper card,” Alberta Health explained.

“We are working on this functionality right now, however we do not a timeline on when this feature will be ready at this point in time.”
