Will the federal election candidate knocking on your door be vaccinated?

CALGARY – The pandemic is still hanging over this federal election campaign.

So, what are the chances that candidates knocking on your door are vaccinated?

It’s actually very likely.

We reached out to the three major political parties to find out whether candidates and campaign volunteers are vaccinated.

The Liberals and NDP say all their candidates will be dosed up.

The Conservatives say anyone on the campaign trail who hasn’t had a shot is expected to pass a daily rapid COVID-19 test.

Unvaccinated candidates or volunteers door-knocking could be an issue for people with weak immune systems and those unable to get a shot.
