MRU intros masking rules ahead of fall semester

CALGARY – Students and staff at Mount Royal University will not need to be vaccinated before heading back to campus this fall.
In an email sent to staff and students, the MRU says vaccines are “strongly recommended” for those on campus.

However, the school does say masks will be mandatory in classrooms and labs and any gathering indoors of 20 or more people.
The email also says people who are not vaccinated should wear masks at all times while at school
