Body pulled from Bow River in Cochrane

COCHRANE — A body was pulled from the Bow River in Cochrane on Thursday afternoon.
RCMP say they received a call around 2 p.m. of a deceased person in the river near River Avenue.
Fire crews and police immediately sent boats to the area and began conducting a search.

Not long after the search began, crews were able to locate the body in the water.
The person has been identified as a 36-year-old from the town, but the name will not be released until Net of Kin has been notified.
The investigation into how the person died and how they ended up in the river is ongoing.
