Three drop-in vaccine clinics in NE Calgary planned for August

CALGARY – Calgarians who don’t already have their vaccine appointments booked will be able to pop into one of three drop-in vaccine clinics in the northeast next month.

Alberta Health Services is opening up three locations for people to get their first or second dose of an mRNA vaccine.

On Aug. 12, Dashmesh Culture Centre & Khalsa School in Martindale will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for walk-ins.

The Akram Jomaa Mosque & Calgary Islamic School in Horizon will be open 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 13.

The Baitun Nur Mosque in Falconridge will also be open on Aug. 13, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Each clinic will have 300 doses of Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.

If you plan to drop in and get jabbed, you’ll need to bring your photo ID and healthcare card.
