CALGARY — Calgary police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for a man wanted in the fatal stabbing of a man in downtown Calgary late last month.
On June 30, around 7 p.m., a man was walking past James Short Park when he heard a dispute between a man and woman in the park.
The man attempted to intervene after the woman told the suspect to stop hitting her, that’s when the suspect pulled out a knife and threatened the good samaritan.
When the man tried to run, he tripped and fell onto the bumper of a car, allowing the suspect to catch up to him. The suspect then stabbed the man.
