CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Several Calgarians have been displaced after three homes suffered significant damage in an overnight house fire in the city’s northwest.

A two-storey home went up in flames and neighbouring homes were also damaged in the community of Sherwood.

The Calgary Fire Department (CFD) responded to reports of a home fully engulfed in flames just after midnight.

The residents of the affected homes were able to evacuate. No injuries were reported.

“Firefighters quickly initiated an aggressive exterior attack with apparatus deck guns and hand lines,” according to a CFD release. “Two water towers were also set up to assist in fire attack.”

An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
