CALGARY – A face many Calgarians will recognize from their TV screens has announced his candidacy for this fall’s municipal election.
Gary Bobrovitz, who spent 40 years as a reporter for Global, will be running to be the councillor for Ward 8.
“I know how City Council works. I will use that experience to get the job done for the people of Ward 8 and all Calgarians. I want to make all lives better by giving back to my community and to my city,” Bobrovitz said in a release.
