CALGARY – The Calgary Firefighters Association put out a poll on the upcoming mayoral election and now we have our first look at who Calgarians are eyeing for the chair.
The Leger poll shows 19 per cent of people prefer Jeromy Farkas, while 14 per cent prefer Jyoti Gondek, and seven per cent want Jeff Davison.
New mayoral poll, commissioned by @CGYFireFighters, shows Jeromy Farkas holds a slim lead over Jyoti Gondek with three months to go until the election. But most importantly, 55% of voters — majority of them 18-34 years old — remain undecided. #yyc #yyccc pic.twitter.com/5ipoL8vzRz

A majority, 55 per cent of voters polled, are still undecided with less than 100 days to go until the October election.
A spokesperson for the firefighters association says it’s been hit with millions of dollars in cuts and it’s time to get involved with the community.
The poll also found a majority of Calgarians support firefighters receiving adequate funding, staffing, and equipment.
