CALGARY — Calgary police have laid charges against a man following a pair of sexual offences against children earlier this year.
On March 5, a 13-year-old girl was walking along Saddlebrooke Drive N.E. when a man approached her in a White Honda Odyssey asking for directions.
The girl then noticed while he was talking to her, he was touching himself.
The man exited the vehicle and came up to the girl from behind and tried to force her into the van.
At that point, she was able to run home and call police.

He called the girls over, and again, was seen touching himself mid-conversation.
Both girls ran home and reported the incident to police.
Police have now identified and charged Feradus Abdul Azim, 34, with one count of child abduction and two counts of invitation to sexual touching with a child under 16 years of age.
