Police investigate suspicious death in the city’s northeast, seek info on blue truck

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Calgary police are seeking information about a truck they believe is linked to a suspicious death in the city’s northeast.

Police are investigating after a man in his 30s was found dead in the Rundle neighbourhood on Friday. The body was located at 38 Street near 25 Avenue NE, just a few blocks away from the Peter Lougheed Centre.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.

CPS believes a dark blue 2005 GMC Sierra truck with Alberta license plate CJD8152 is connected to the suspicious death.

“Investigators are trying to determine the whereabouts of the truck, before and after the death,” read a CPS release.

Police want to know where the truck was over a 24-hour period between Friday at 6 a.m. and Saturday at 6 a.m.
