Progress Software: Fiscal Q2 Earnings Snapshot

BEDFORD, Mass. (AP) _ Progress Software Corp. (PRGS) on Thursday reported fiscal second-quarter earnings of $13.6 million.
The Bedford, Massachusetts-based company said it had profit of 30 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 82 cents per share.
The business software maker posted revenue of $122.5 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $129.2 million.
For the current quarter ending in September, Progress Software expects its per-share earnings to range from 81 cents to 83 cents.
The company said it expects revenue in the range of $129 million to $132 million for the fiscal third quarter. Analysts surveyed by Zacks had expected revenue of $129.6 million.
Progress Software expects full-year earnings in the range of $3.46 to $3.50 per share, with revenue ranging from $529 million to $535 million.
Progress Software shares have risen nearly 2% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $46.06, an increase of 26% in the last 12 months.
