Century Gardens reopening after years of redevelopment

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — After years of construction and delays, Century Gardens will reopen to the public.

The park underwent redevelopment back in 2018, and has construction has been marred by COVID-19 restrictions and bad winter weather.

There will be a grand opening ceremony sometime in the future.

Century Gardens was made in 1975 to celebrate Calgary’s Centennial, the landscape is an abstraction of the nearby Rocky Mountains and Foothills.
