CALGARY — Gas prices continue to climb in and around Calgary.

Earlier this week, prices were in the range of 123 cents per litre — they have now climbed, on average, to 132 cents per litre according to GasBuddy.

A gas price spike is no surprise for the summer months, but a spike this high hasn’t been seen since Oct. 2018, according to historical gas price data from GasBuddy.

There are some locations across the city where you may be able to find some luck.

Currently, the lowest gas prices are listed, to no surprise, at Costco locations — with some offering regular gas for just 110 cents per litre.

Should you not have a Costco membership, some Centex, Co-op, and Gas Plus locations are offering gas for 123 to 125 cents per litre.
