Environment Canada issues heat warning for Calgary, southern Alberta

The weekend heat won’t be wearing off tomorrow, with Calgary expecting at least one more day of extreme heat.

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Environment Canada issued another heat warning for parts of southern Alberta, including Calgary.

The heat warning, issued Sunday morning, covers the southeast part of the province including Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Cypress Hills, and Drumheller.

Calgary’s daily high is expected to surpass 29 degrees Celsius. The lows are near 14 degrees over the next three days.

The extreme heat is forecasted to end Monday in Calgary and Tuesday evening for other areas covered by the warning.
