Nearly 500 people get shots in first 2 days of vaccination blitz at Telus Convention Centre

CALGARY – Almost 500 people have taken advantage of the walk-in COVID-19 immunization clinic offered by AHS in Calgary.

The no-appointment option is being offered by the health agency since Tuesday at the Telus Convention Centre as a part of a three-day vaccination blitz.

The clinic is set to close Thursday evening.

Calgarians who have yet to receive their first shot of the vaccine can take advantage of the opportunity until 7:20 p.m.

To be eligible you are required to present your Alberta health card along with one photo ID.

Free parking is available for 90 minutes.
