Calgary police seek break and enter suspect

Calgary Police

CALGARY — Calgary police are looking for the public’s help in identifying a man who broke into a northeast Calgary home last month.

On May 21 around 12:40 p.m., a woman was asleep in her home located along Abadan Crescent N.E., when her dog woke her up because a man was in her front yard.

After asking the man if he needed help, the suspect ran into the home, forcing the door open and pushing the woman to the ground.

A fight ensued between the two, leaving the woman with a cut to her arm.

The man then fled the home.

Police and EMS arrived and the woman was attended to at the scene.

Now, police hope releasing a sketch of the man could help in identifying him.

He is described as being roughly 5’10” tall, with an average build, and wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, brown boots, sunglasses, and a baseball hat.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact police.
