AIRDRIE – Mounties north of Calgary are hoping you can help identify two people they believe are responsible for thefts in Airdrie.

Shortly before 5 a.m. on Sunday, two men broke into a parked SUV on Bayside Drive.

Police say they stole $1,000 worth of stuff from the car, then took off in a newer model silver Ford Escape.

Investigators say the same Escape was seen around 5:45 a.m. in Coopers Cove, where they stole about $5,000 in tools from a home under construction.

The men are both described as “non-Caucasian” with dark hair.
