CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Alberta reported less than 300 new cases of COVID-19 again Saturday.
The 293 new cases were from nearly 7,000 tests for a positivity rate of about 4.3 per cent.
The province now has just above 5,000 active cases, with about 2,000 of those in the Calgary zone.
Three more deaths have been reported.
There are 373 people being treated for COVID-19 in hospital, with 105 of those patients in intensive care units.
The province passed a milestone Saturday — with more than three million COVID vaccine doses now delivered.
More than half a million Albertans are fully immunized.
The province plans to lift all restrictions two weeks after at least 70 per cent of people receive their first dose.
