Calgary police looking for details in missing persons cold case

CALGARY — Sometime in early June 2018, 51-year-old Lisa Maceachern went missing from Calgary and hasn’t been seen since.

Now, Calgary police are re-surfacing photos of her in the hopes that someone may have information on her whereabouts after June 2018.

Maceachern is described as  5’6″ tall, roughly 130 pounds, with brown eyes and red hair.

She has tattoos on her shoulders with three hearts and flowers. It isn’t known what she was wearing when she went missing.

“Recently we began sharing information with the public about historical missing persons cases in hopes of generating tips to aid in these investigations,” said Staff Sergeant Martin Schiavetta in a release. “We never close files, but it is a reality that sometimes we do not have enough information or evidence to move an investigation forward. It is our hope that by bringing these cases to the public’s attention, we can gain new insight into these cases.”

Anyone who may have information on Maceachern’s whereabouts or may have information that can aid in the investigation is asked to contact police.
