Man arrested on over 100 outstanding warrants days after being released from jail

CALGARY – Police say a man the recently arrested in a break and enter just days after he was released from jail had over 100 outstanding warrants.

CPS says officers were called to a break-and-enter at a downtown apartment building on Mar. 24 where the suspect broke into the lockbox to steal the master keys to the building.

He used the keys to get into the mail room.

He was arrested May 22 northwest of Calgary.

On top of the fresh charges in relation to the brek-and-enter, police say the 38-year-old suspect had over 100 additional warrants.

He remains in police custody and is scheduled to appear in court on June 15.
