Airdire man charged in March assault of toddler

AIRDRIE – Mounties north of Calgary have charged a man with aggravated assault in connection to a March attack on a child.
RCMP were called to an Airdrie home on Mar. 8 and found a 20-month-old toddler severely injured.
Officers believe a man living at the home assaulted the child.
The 27-year-old man was arrested and charged at the end of May.
He is scheduled to appear in court on June 24.
