Woman in her 70s in critical condition following pedestrian collision in southeast Calgary

CALGARY — A woman in her 70s has been taken to hospital in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in the southeast community of Acadia on Thursday.
EMS say the woman was walking in the area of Bonaventure Drive and 94 Avenue around 1 p.m. when they were hit.
UPDATE: Emergency services have been called; to help a pedestrian involved in an incident on 94 Ave and Bonaventure Dr SE, the road is closed in all directions. Please avoid the area. #yyctraffic #yycroads

Both roads were closed in the area, but have since reopened.
It isn’t clear if speed or impairment were factors in the collision.
