Police look to public for help in locating stolen wedding ring

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Calgary police are looking to the public for help in finding a unique wedding ring stolen from a car last week in the southwest quadrant of the city.

On Tuesday, May 4, sometime between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m., the ring was taken from the victim’s car which was parked outside a home on the 4000 block of Crestview Road S.W.

The suspect, who was seen by a neighbour, is described as being 25 to 30 years old with a slim build, ranging somewhere between 5’10 and 6 feet tall. He’s also said to have been wearing red sweatpants.

The ring is described as white gold with pave-set diamonds valued at $20,000.

Anyone who may have information on the stolen ring is being asked to contact police.
