Calgary Flames players will need to book personal appointment for COVID-19 vaccine

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Calgary Flames players will need to line up for their COVID-19 vaccine like everybody else.

There was some curiosity as to if the team would be able to avoid heading to a public centre to get their shot.

The question was raised after there was news that the team doctor for the Toronto Maple Leafs would be administering shots for its players.

In an email, a spokesperson for the Flames said “We are encouraged that the province continues to move forward with vaccinations for the vast majority of Albertans.

We have advised our players of the current guidelines with respect to booking a personal appointment to get a vaccination.”
