CALGARY (660 NEWS) — The entire broadcast staff for the World Women’s Curling Championship remain in isolation after a number of them tested positive for COVID-19.
In a statement, the World Curling Federation said athletes and coaches are not considered at risk at this time.
The Sunday morning session is postponed out of an abundance of caution. The afternoon draw will go ahead at 2 p.m. as long as the federation receives the all-clear by Alberta Health.
Broadcasting the games going forward have been put on hold.
