‘Long Pants”: Legendary April Wine front man talks about upcoming solo album and new single

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – April Wine, one of the most successful rock bands in Canadian music history rose to stardom in the 1970’s and ’80s and is still going strong today.

Lead singer and founder Myles Goodwyn, an award-winning hall of famer and multi-platinum selling producer and songwriter is releasing a brand new album this year entitled “Long Pants” as well as a new single called “Will The Last Voice I Hear Be An Angel.”

Goodwyn is joined on the track by Jim Henman, another original member of April Wine, who along with David Henman and Ritchie Henman founded the band in 1969.

The upcoming album set for release as early as the summer of 2021 is an eclectic collection of personal songs, some previously released and dating back as much as 40 years.

Since 1971, April Wine has released 16 studio albums, while Goodwyn himself has also put out three other solo efforts including blues-based albums in 2018 and 2019.
