Calgary walk-in vaccination site moving to Telus Convention Centre

AHS closes walk-in COVID-19 immunization site at Southport and moves it to Telus Convention Centre Downtown. Effective Tuesday, increased demand is expected as anyone 40 and over can now access an Astra Zeneca vaccine.

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Those who may have planned to head to the Southport building in southwest Calgary to get a shot of the AstraZeneca vaccine will now be heading downtown.

Alberta Health Services announced that effective Tuesday, those looking to walk in and get their AstraZeneca shot will now have to go to the Telus Convention Centre.
