CALGARY (CityNews) – It may have seemed that spring had sprung, but any true Calgarian knows that Sunday’s snow dump was inevitable.

Environment Canada put a snowfall warning in effect for the City of Calgary through most of Sunday afternoon, with a higher amount expected to fall over the western part of the city.

The snow was anticipated to be significant across Calgary and the southern foothills of the Rockies.
