CALGARY – A 29-year-old man will appear in court Thursday in the death of a woman almost 14 years ago.
The Edmonton-area man, who was 16 at the time, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Tara-Anne Landgraf, whose body was discovered by a passerby in August 2007.

Landgraf had been stabbed and sexually assaulted on Burns Ave. in the southeast community of Ramsay.
A DNA profile was identified at the time of Landgraf’s death, but police weren’t able to make a match through the national databank.
Investigators took a fresh look at the evidence in late 2019 and tracked down the accused earlier this year.
The Crown said it intends to seek an adult sentence for the suspect if he is convicted.
