CALGARY (660 NEWS) – A Calgary cocktail bar is the latest dining spot to land on Alberta Health Services (AHS) COVID-19 outbreak list after hosting a large event.
An inspection report from AHS confirmed 27 cases of the virus have been linked to Junction on 8 Ave. S.W.
The report said customers at the bar were not social distancing during an event held on Mar. 22.
The owners have been ordered to immediately stop holding social gatherings inside which is already forbidden under the province’s current restrictions.
Currently, AHS has listed five COVID-19 outbreaks linked to Calgary bars and restaurants.
