Calgary police seek witnesses in driver intimidation incident

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — Calgary police are looking for witnesses after a person was followed through northwest Calgary into Cochrane in what’s being called an act of intimidation.

On Thursday, Mar. 11 between 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m., a man was followed by a white Nissan Altima on northbound Harvest Hills Blvd, onto westbound Stoney Trail N.W., and westbound Highway 1A from Calgary to Cochrane.

Once the victim got to Cochrane, he managed to evade the Nissan near Centre Avenue.

Police say that while following the victim, the offender made clear attempts to intimidate the victim, changing speeds and driving erratically around them.

It is believed that due to unique stickers on the vehicle, it may be easily identified by people who witnessed the incident.

The vehicle had a #NovaScotiaStrong sticker and two Trump 2020 stickers on the rear windshield.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to call them.
