Three Calgary men arrested after ramming RCMP vehicle

COCHRANE (660 NEWS) — Three men from Calgary have been arrested after an RCMP vehicle was hit on Monday.

Police in Cochrane received a call from an off-duty officer about suspicious people in a parking lot off Highway 1A.

Officers attempted to stop the men who rammed a police car in an effort to escape.

Police were able to quickly surround the car and stop it. All three men inside the car were arrested and a search of the vehicle found cocaine, fentanyl, oxycodone, as well as a loaded 9mm hand gun.

RCMP have charged Deng Keuch, 23, Mark Ture, 21, and Gach Manyel, 22, with a handful of weapons and drugs charges.

All three are also facing multiple charges related to the breaching of release conditions.

Ture is also facing a charge of assault with a weapon on a police officer.
