One man killed in rollover on Highway 1 near Morley

CALGARY (660 NEWS) — One man is dead after a rollover on westbound Highway 1 near Morley.
RCMP were called out around 10 a.m. Friday morning after a passerby noticed a damaged vehicle in a field next to the highway.
“Somebody came across after the fact, we’re still not entirely sure when the accident may have occurred,” said Corporal Troy Savinkoff with Cochrane RCMP.
There have been some slowdowns on the highway in the area as police investigate the cause of the crash and work to identify the identity of the man.
“There have been no permanent interruptions in traffic just some momentary ones while we momentarily stop traffic to take some photos and do some very limited measurements on the roadway,” Cpl. Savinkoff said.
