Alberta reports 341 new cases, one additional death on Saturday

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – The province of Alberta released its latest COVID-19 numbers on Saturday afternoon – 341 new cases and one additional death linked to the virus.
The provincial positivity rate is 4.1 per cent.
In a series of tweets, Dr. Deena Hinshaw also reported 36 new variant cases.
There are 4,649 active cases in the province with 247 in hospital, including 42 in intensive care. Sadly, I must also report one additional death. My deepest sympathies go to all those mourning a lost loved one today. (2/3)

In the last 24 hours, a total 8,142 tests have been completed.
There are more than 4,000 active cases of COVID throughout the province.
