Crash on QEII leaves one person with life-threatening injuries

OLDS (660 NEWS) – One person is in life-threatening condition following a crash on the QEII near the Olds overpass.

RCMP said the collision happened around 9:12 Wednesday morning when an SUV that was southbound on the highway lost control just south of Highway 27 and rolled over landing in the northbound lane.

One person in the SUV was taken by STARS Air Ambulance to hospital with life-threatening injuries while a second person suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police closed that part of the Highway for a few hours but have since reopened it.
