Alberta continues to see falling COVID-19 numbers

EDMONTON (660 NEWS) – After almost an entire week of relaxed COVID-19 restrictions, Alberta continues to see falling hospitalizations and ICU admissions.
Through a series of tweets, Dr. Deena Hinshaw confirmed 314 new cases of COVID-19 and 16 additional deaths.
This long weekend, please be safe. This is not the time for the large get-togethers of past years. By not gathering w/ ppl outside our household, we’re not giving COVID-19 the chance to spread. Meet virtually or get together outdoors w/ no more than 10 ppl & stay 2m apart. (3/4)

With 8,410 tests completed, the province’s positivity rate sits at 3.8 per cent.
A total of 1,760 Albertans have died while infected with COVID-19.
