Calgary makeup artist goes viral with zodiac-inspired looks

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – A Calgary makeup artist with a passion for special effects makeup has gained millions of views and likes on social media for his zodiac-inspired looks.
Bryan Francisco created 12 different looks based on the zodiac signs using paint, head pieces and clay. The photos and videos have gone viral overnight.
“I thought I was dreaming,” said Francisco of the social media response.
The videos were posted to TikTok in a series called: “Guess what zodiac sign this is.”
Francisco began creating the looks last month. He says he was inspired by other beauty influencers online.
“I’ve been inspired by watching a lot of creators, especially on Instagram and YouTube,” he said.

A special needs teacher by day and makeup artist by night, Francisco is hoping to eventually turn his love for makeup and art into a full-time job.
“My dream is to work in fashion events, where it’s more avant-garde, or even with magazines,” he said.
Francisco has already started on his next makeup projects, including creating a variety of looks inspired by “The Hunger Games.”
