Lethbridge couple facing drug and child endangerment charges

LETHBRIDGE (660 NEWS) – Police in Lethbridge say they have laid multiple drug and child endangerment charges after finding drugs, weapons, and a large amount of cash in a house and vehicle.

RCMP say the Police Crime Suppression Team found over $7,000 in cash, $6,500 worth of drugs, including 33 grams of methamphetamine, and a stolen doctor’s prescription pad.

A three-year-old child inside the home was picked up by family members. Child and Family Services was also notified.

No names have been released to protect the identity of the child.

A 28-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man, both from Lethbridge, face several charges, including willfully causing a child to be drug endangered.

They will appear in court on Feb. 16.
