CALGARY (660 NEWS) – The Calgary Flames were back on the ice as NHL training camps got underway Sunday.

There are 41 Flames players currently at camp with four others arriving later: Oliver Kylington, Jakob Pelletier, Connor Zary and Dustin Wolf.

Two intra-squad mock games are scheduled for Jan. 7 and Jan. 11.

The short camp will not include any pre-season warm-ups against other teams.

The 56-game NHL season begins Jan. 13 – in less than two weeks. Calgary’s first game is Jan. 14 against the Winnipeg Jets.
