Man in hospital, two in custody following New Year’s Day shooting

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – One man is in hospital and two people are in custody following a shooting in Calgary’s northeast Friday night.

Police say they were called to a home on Centre Street N.E. near 54 Avenue N.E. around 10:45 p.m.

According to EMS, the victim was transported to Foothills Hospital in serious, non-life-threatening condition and was stable.

Police say two suspects were arrested at the scene and the investigation is currently ongoing.
