Police release new details on vehicle involved in northeast hit-and-run

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Police have new information on the vehicle involved in a serious hit-and-run last week in Saddle Ridge.

Last Tuesday, a vehicle struck a 64-year-old cyclist who was crossing 80 Avenue NE, near the Saddletowne CTrain station.

The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but his condition has improved to non-life-threatening.

Investigators are now looking for a light-coloured sedan, which was believed to be involved in the collision.

Police said the grill and hood of the vehicle were likely damaged in the collision.

Anyone with information about the sedan, or who may have dashcam from before, during or after the collision, is asked to call Calgary police or Crime Stoppers.
