CALGARY (660 NEWS) – It is the first official day of winter and mother nature is about to give us a blast of snow.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the City of Calgary and much of southern Alberta.

Some areas, including west of Okotoks, Kananaskis and the Crowsnest Pass are under Winter Storm warnings.

About 10-20 centimetres of snow is expected to fall from Monday into Tuesday in Calgary.
