Heritage Park cancels annual Christmas event and market

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – A Christmas tradition in Calgary will not be happening this year because of COVID-19.

Heritage Park announced it was cancelling its Once Upon A Christmas event and closing the Market Nights Christmas Market.

The park said it is contacting all guests who prepurchased tickets for Once Upon a Christmas, pet photos with Santa, and the Holiday Teas.

The Railway Café and the Selkirk will remain open for in-person dining until Saturday along with the Gasoline Alley Museum.

The Haskayne Mercantile Block shops will remain open but are following the latest health guidelines and only operating at 15 per cent capacity.

You can still support the park over the Christmas season by making a donation or ordering meals for curbside pickup.
