CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Calgary Police say a man, who was in critical condition after a crash in the northeast Sunday night, has succumbed to his injuries.
It happened around 16 Ave. and 36 St. just before 11:00 p.m.
Only one vehicle was involved as it flipped across the median before catching fire.
Police said the driver was thrown from the vehicle.
Investigators said speed was a factor, but it’s not clear if drugs or alcohol were to blame.
Roads were closed along 16 Ave. between 19 St. and 52 St. NE overnight, but they reopened Monday morning.
