CALGARY – Police are asking people in the northeast to check their properties as they continue to search for a missing man.

Avtar Singh Kalkat left his home early Saturday, and was last seen that morning in a greenspace near Cornerstone Way and 68 Street.

Anyone living or working in the area of Country Hills Boulevard and Stoney Trail, south to 96 Avenue northeast, are asked to check for anything suspicious in the area and report it to police.

He is described as South Asian, in his late 50s, 5’10″ tall, with a thin build, thinning black hair and brown eyes.

He may be wearing white shoes, brown pajama pants, a light-blue jacket and dark green shirt.
