Another Calgary high school on COVID-19 watch

CALGARY (660 NEWS) – Another Calgary school has been placed under a COVID-19 watch.

John G. Diefenbaker High School is the latest to report five or more cases of the virus.

The public school advocacy group Support Our Students (SOS) said over 340 schools have reported COVID-19 cases since Aug. 30.

About 211 of those schools have reported cases in the past two weeks.

Alberta Health is currently showing 69 schools with outbreaks, 22 on the watch status including seven in Calgary.
